Terms of service

Version of 1 October 2026

Translated from German: in case of discrepancy, the German text prevails.

1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders in the online shop of Alessandro Di Natale, Sonnenhügelstrasse 23, 9320 Arbon (hereinafter «we»). Deviating terms of the customer apply only if we agree to them in writing.

2. Offer and conclusion of contract

Leather is a natural product: every piece offered is one of a kind. Area, thickness, grade and the known marks are stated for every piece; the photos show the piece offered itself. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by e-mail. Since every piece exists only once, in the case of simultaneous orders the one completed first applies.

3. Area and natural characteristics

The area is the area measured by the tannery and stated on the leather; for offcuts we measured it ourselves. Measuring methods have a usual tolerance. Scars, growth marks, small scratches, and differences in colour and thickness within a piece are characteristics of the natural product and not a defect. We state the usable area where we know it.

4. Prices

All prices are in Swiss francs including 8.1 % VAT (VAT no. CHE-421.096.870 MWST). Shipping costs are shown before the order is completed. Business customers with a UID number receive a personal discount code on request.

5. Payment

The available payment methods are shown during checkout.

6. Delivery

We deliver within Switzerland. Leather is shipped from our stock in Arbon within 3–5 working days of receiving payment; details are given in the shipping terms.

7. Returns

Swiss law gives no statutory right of withdrawal for online purchases. We voluntarily take leather back within 14 days of receipt if it has not been cut or worked; return shipping is at the customer's expense. Details are given in the return terms.

8. Warranty

Obvious defects or deviations from the description of the piece must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt, before the leather is cut or worked. If the complaint is justified, we take the piece back and refund the purchase price or deliver an equivalent piece, if available. Leather that has been cut or worked cannot be returned, except in the case of hidden defects.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage only in the case of intent or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the Vienna Convention on the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Arbon, unless the law provides otherwise.
